A beautiful lithography with double varnish to ensure long lasting in time and water proof properties with the representation of Saint Susanna. An artwork following the Athonian techniques to the letter created with love and patience. The creator applied the process of artificial ageing and added a handmade metal finish to give this icon unique aesthetic value.

Saint Susanna lived at the end of the third century AD. Hailing from Palestine, he had a father, Artemios, a national and idol priest, and a Jewish mother, Martha. However, she became acquainted with the Christian faith, which is why she was baptized a Christian by Bishop Silouan.

This greatly angered the Gentiles and the Jews, who together decided to kill her. However, the bishop was informed of the plan of her murder and together with the Saint they tried to find a solution. In the end, the solution was given by Sosanni. She distributed all her wealth to the poor, dressed as a man and left Jerusalem. On the way to the desert he met a refuge of pious men, to which he sought refuge. It is even said that there he was renamed John and practiced asceticism for twenty whole years. Later she went to Eleftheroupoli, after putting on her women's uniform again.

When Diocletian's persecution of the Church began, Susanna, without fear at all, continued to worship Jesus Christ openly. Arrested for this and because she did not want to sacrifice to idols, she was sentenced to death along with others.

Saint Susanna surrendered her spirit to her Lord in the fire.
