Gold-plated bronze replica of a holy water sprinkler, used to perfume churches with rose water during religious services. The original features repousse leaves and florals within network compartments. Original one was made in one of the famous 19th century workshops in Constantinople. The composition of the decoration harks back to earlier Islamic prototypes, while the floral motifs are influenced by the work of European silversmiths of the 19th century.
