This Byzantine-style icon of Saint David of Evia is made of 925 sterling silver with selective 24-karat gold plating. The background has a matte, hammered finish, while the central figure has a polished, glossy finish. The lettering and various details on the garments and halo are decorated with burgundy enamel designs. The wood panel is cut in an intricate, modern design.
The metal has been specially treated to ensure it remains untarnished.
It can be hung on a wall or displayed on a tabletop with its stand.
