This miniature, Byzantine-style icon of Saint Spyridon is created with 925 silver, local 24-karat gold plating, and a handmade silkscreen print. The silver has a hammered finish in some areas and a polished finish in others to highlight the main features of the image. The top of the icon has an arched design. The back is made of a thick plastic with a brown wood-imitation effect.
The metal on the icon has been specially treated to prevent tarnishing.
It can be hung on a wall or displayed on a table using its stand.
