Abraham's Hospitality icon Rublev Handmade Greek Orthodox Icon of the Holy Trinity, Byzantine art wall hanging wood plaque, religious decor
Wooden carved orthodox icon of Abraham's Hospitality (Holy Trinity), crafted from high-quality linden wood for lasting durability. The eco-friendly colors used enhance its beauty, and it can be displayed on a wall or flat surface. Dimensions may vary slightly.
In addition to the Bible’s clear teaching on the Holy Trinity, hints also appear in the Old Testament, such as God's visit to Abraham through three messengers (Genesis 18:1). Abraham warmly welcomed the strangers, who foretold that his wife, Sarah, would have a child within the year—a prophecy that came true.
The Church Fathers viewed this event as a foreshadowing of the Holy Trinity. Later, two of the men are identified as angels (Genesis 19:1), which is why they are often depicted in their angelic form in icons. The prominence of the central angel reflects interpretations by early Church Fathers, who saw this encounter as a divine theophany.
