A handmade Greek Orthodox vigil lamp: a sliding hanging vigil lamp with a polygonal fused glass body - glass and colour powders fired at 800 degrees Celsius - decorated with an image of the Virgin Mary; the sliding chains let the lamp be lowered to light and raised again.
