The creator of this icon has learned the canonization of iconography in workshops of the Monasteries of Mount Athos, where he was taught both the technique of lithography and the process of handmade artificial ageing.

Saint Boniface, born in England around 675 AD, was a renowned missionary known as the Apostle of the Germans. Dedicated to spreading Christianity, he traveled through Germany and the Netherlands, establishing monasteries and baptizing thousands. Boniface played a crucial role in organizing the church in Germany, earning recognition for his efforts from the Pope. His commitment to the faith led to his martyrdom in 754 AD while preaching in Frisia. He is remembered for his missionary zeal, religious reform, and significant contributions to the spread of Christianity in Europe. Saint Boniface is honored annually on June 5th in the Christian calendar.
