This wonderful icon has been created with the technique of lithography and has a double varnish to ensure waterproof and duration in time. The creator of this icon has learned the canonization of iconography in workshops of the Monasteries of Mount Athos, where he was taught both the technique of lithography and the process of handmade artificial ageing.
A true masterpiece of an icon with with the representation of Saint Paisios of Mount Athos and Saint Porphyrios (Bairaktaris) the Kapsokalyvite.
A handmade icon on naturally aged wood following the technique of lithography, creating a unique piece of beauty. Based on a copy of Byzantine art, the hagiographer painted this work abiding to the traditional methods, as taught in the iconography workshops of the Athonian State.
