Virgin Mary Glykophilousa (= Sweet Kissing). Byzantine style miniature icon, crafted with 925 sterling silver, with local 24-karat gold plating and handmade silkscreen printing. The silver in some areas has a hammered look, while in others it has a glossy finish, to highlight the main characteristics of the subject. The icon is shaped in an arch design at the top. The backing is made of thick plastic with a wood imitation effect in a brown shade. The metal of the icon has undergone a special treatment to remain non-tarnishing.
It can be hung on the wall or placed on a table with its base.
