The background of the icon is finished with a matte hammered look, while the inner subject has a glossy finish. The letters and the various elements on the garment and the halo are decorated with enamel designs in a burgundy shade. The wood of the icon is cut in an elaborate modern design. The metal of the icon has undergone a special treatment to remain untarnished.
