Virgin Mary or Panagia of Vladimir Icon (Russian: Влади́мирская ико́на Бо́жией Ма́тери) is a Byzantine Christian religious image that depicts the Virgin Mary holding the infant Jesus Christ. Dating back to the 12th century, it is an early example of the Panagia Eleousa iconography. This icon is also referred to as the Virgin of Vladimir.

The image portrays Jesus Christ as a baby in the arms of His mother, Mary. The two figures are depicted in close contact, with the young Christ embracing His mother, while Mary gazes at the observer with a stern expression. The original icon bore the inscription "MP ΘY," an abbreviation of "Μήτηρ Θεού" (Mother of God).

According to tradition, the icon was painted by the Evangelist Luke and is said to convey the depth of maternal love and Mary's concerns for her child.

One of the most remarkable miracles associated with the Vladimir Icon was its survival during a catastrophic fire that destroyed the Cathedral. The icon remained completely unscathed. Additionally, it was preserved from destruction during the Tatar invasions, and was famously present during many battles fought by Prince Andrei near the Volga River.
